Disney+ has released an exciting trailer for its slate of upcoming original K-drama series set to air in 2025.

Last November, Disney+ held the second day of its APAC Content Showcase in Singapore where it introduced some of its upcoming original K-dramas that will be released in 2025.

Some of the unveiled titles were The Murky Stream, The Manipulated, Tempest and Made in Korea. Other K-dramas airing this year include Hyper Knife, Knock-Off, Nine Puzzles and Lowlife, along with the second season of the 2023 hit series Moving.

On January 7, the streaming platform unveiled a teaser clip offering a first look at some of its upcoming K-dramas for 2025, including Unmasked, Hyper Knife, Knock-Off and more.

Among these, Unmasked will be the first to premiere on January 15. Starring Kim Hye-soo, the series follows an investigative news team who must solve a 20-year-old cold case in order to save their careers after airing a controversial story.

Premiering next on March 19 is Hyper Knife, which is about a genius neurosurgeon (Extraordinary Attorney Woo’s Park Eun-bin) who performs back-alley surgeries after her revered mentor (Sul Kyung-gu) casts her aside

The Murky Stream is an upcoming historical drama led by Rowoon (Tomorrow) and The Glory’s Shin Ye-eun. The series is written by Cheon Sung-il, who is behind Netflix’s All Of Us Are Dead and directed by Masquerade’s Choo Chang-min. Meanwhile, Kim Da-mi (Itaewon Class) and Son Sukku will lead serial killer mystery Nine Puzzles.

Additionally, The Manipulated sees Ji Chang-wook leading his third Disney+ original, this time as a wrongfully imprisoned man who finds out that a mysterious young man named Yohan (EXO’s D.O.) was responsible for his downfall. After learning the truth, he embarks on a quest for revenge.
