Coco Austin hit back at online trolls for criticism over how she and her husband Ice-T are parenting their six-year-old daughter.
Recently the reality star came under fire for both bathing her kid in the kitchen sink and wheeling her in a stroller, but Coco seemed unfazed and dismissed concerns she was mistreating her daughter, Chanel.
At Heidi Klum’s 21st annual Halloween party, she addressed the recent trolling and slammed commentators for being ‘hypocrites’.
She said: ‘They’re like, on me.
‘But the thing is, everybody’s a hypocrite I feel because they do certain weird things in their house.’
The swimsuit model – who welcomed her first child with Ice-T in November 2015 -admitted she couldn’t understand the outrage.
‘I don’t think that bathing my daughter in the sink is weird,’ she said.
‘If I have a huge-ass sink, why not? It’s just easier for me.’
Continuing on, she added to Page Six: ‘And if I have to carry her everywhere and it’s just easier to bring a stroller, why not?
‘She’s petite, she’s super small, and it’s easier.’
Affirming she is extremely protective over her young child, the mother of one revealed she has to be ‘very careful’ and monitor her image a little more now she has a different pair of eyes watching her, adding: ‘Everybody says I do play the sexy mom role, they’re always looking at me under a microscope.’
Living in an internet age, the star spilled her own concerns over allowing Chanel to post on her social media accounts without her supervision.
She shared how much her daughter enjoyed exploring the apps and admitted she finds it ‘scary’ knowing what her child could come across while using them.
Coco said: ‘Chanel really likes social media right now and it’s scary just to see she’s very innocent about the world.
‘In my eyes, there are things that I have to crank down and be like, “Babe, the world won’t see it the way you see it.” We see it but can’t post it.’
