Cash-savvy mum shares how you can get parenting essentials for FREE at Boots, including wipes and bubble bath

A MONEY-SMART mum has revealed how fellow parents can get their hands on different essentials, including baby wipes, for free.

Over the last few years, the prices of baby products have skyrocketed, leaving many cash-strapped parents increasingly worried and frustrated.

Luckily, one mum, Jenni, has shared how you can bag all the must-haves, including wipes and breast pads, without spending a penny.

According to Jenni, from the UK, the high street retailer Boots is running a great offer where shoppers can sign up to their Parenting Club and enjoy the benefits of the membership.

Parenting Club is exclusive to Boots Advantage Card holders, so if you don’t have one yet, you can sign up here – and it takes just seconds.

The membership runs from the moment you find out you’re pregnant until the day your child turns five, and there are a number of perks waiting for customers.

Not only can you expect a number of freebies, you can also earn eight points per £1 on baby products, the website stated.

As well as providing you with free expert advice, the Boots app will also notify you on all the latest offers to hit the stores – and you can even get your hands on a free Aveeno product of your choice.

Taking to TikTok to inform fellow parents about the fantastic programme, Jenni said: ”Mums, dads, if you didn’t know, you can get some free items from Boots if you have the Boots Advantage Card.

”It’s free to sign up and I go the breast pads, the Aveeno Baby – think it’s like the shampoo, conditioner or bubble bath type of stuff, and the MAM bottle.

”All for free – I didn’t pay anything,” she said in her video.

”Good to know mums and dads to be.”

Dozens of fellow shoppers claimed they’d signed up and still hadn’t received anything – so, it’s worth noting that the offer may take some time to activate.

One parent wrote: ”I can confirm! I eventually got the parenting club offers! It did take one month and a week!”

Someone else from the capital cried: ”In London, [they] are sold out everywhere.”

Another chimed in: ”Took a few days for mine to come through, got all apart from the bottle, they never have the bottles in stock!”

”The mam bottles scan through as 1p so definitely stock up if your store has them out,” a fourth advised.

The cost-of-living crisis has left many Brit families with young children in financial hardship.

To support them, Fabulous has launched the Baby, Bank On Us campaign in partnership with Save The Children, Little Village and baby banks around the UK.

The campaign has been backed by many famous mums and celebs, including Kate Middleton and Leona Lewis, who urged any Sun readers who can volunteer to “just do it”.

The singer, 38, was “incredibly moved” as she met struggling mums and tots at the Hackney Family Centre in East London, where she grew up.

The former X Factor winner — who became a mum to daughter Carmel Allegra in August — visited the volunteer-led hub, one of Britain’s 200 baby banks which provide essentials, including toys and clothes, from newborns to kids up to five.
