His £952,000 estate will be split between wife Lindy Heymann, 56, and their three children.

Lindy gets his share of The Specials’ royalties from streaming platforms, Hall’s digital assets and a £100,000 tax-free gift.

The star requested his ashes be scattered at sea.

His Coventry band shot to fame in the 1970s with hits such as Ghost Town.

They split in 1981, with Hall joining Fun Boy Three and achieving four more Top 10 singles.

He later worked with Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse before reuniting The Specials in 2008.

The band released Encore, their first new material in 37 years, in February 2019, with the album going straight to number one.

Specials bassist Horace Panter revealed Hall was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2022.

The disease spread to his liver shortly before his death.
