Brace yourselves for one of Britain’s Got Talent’s most horrifying acts… ever (Picture: ITV)

Britain’s Got Talent is no stranger to weirdness, but viewers now reckon they’ve seen the most disgusting act ever on the show.

The long-running ITV series has welcomed acts of every kind to the stage over the years, from daredevil stunt performers to bizarre contortionists and terrifying magicians.

But as BGT returned to screens this weekend, judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli could barely watch what was unfolding before their eyes.

Enter Auzzy Blood, a professional sword swallower… plus a whole lot more.

After instantly setting the tone with an eerie entrance to dramatic music, the auditionee unveiled his painted face in the style of what one might call a gothic clown, baring his teeth to greet the panel with a sinister smile.

While he didn’t introduce himself to the audience, words weren’t exactly needed, as the three-time Guinness World Record holder proceeded to shock everyone with body manipulation and several graphic acts.

Letting out an evil cackle, he made his way to the judges’ desk, where Auzzy eagerly shoved a massive, twisted metal spike up his nose, which came down through his mouth.

Naturally, the crowd gasped and grimaced while Amanda shrieked in horror as he continued to twist it around.

Even typically stony-faced Simon couldn’t hide his disgust as Auzzy gave him a closer look, forcing the music mogul to wriggle around in his chair, jaw wide.

Unfortunately for us, the antics didn’t end there, as Auzzy even got Simon involved in the grim performance. He shoved a long plastic tube—again up his nose and down his throat—and encouraged the judge to drink from a beverage on the other end.

To the shock of Ant and Dec, who screamed and yelled out of discomfort, Simon actually did it before Auzzy returned to the stage for one final stunt.

It was the scariest of all, no doubt, as he hooked himself to a rope (you guessed it, via the mouth) and hoisted himself up to the ceiling.

The audience lept out of their seats in disbelief at what they were watching while Amanda and Alesha were forced to turn their backs.

Amazingly, the performer was sent through to the next round, with former Strictly judge Bruno actually praising him: ‘It was like watching a new art form.’

‘No one’s ever seen this before. This was one of my favourite acts of the day, genuinely,’ added Simon, kicking off the first of four yeses.

‘For me, it was horrifically brilliant,’ said Amanda, still trembling.

‘I am gonna say yes because I’m terrified to say no,’ she joked.

Taking to X in a state of bewilderment after what they had just seen, viewers came to the consensus that BGT has never been more gross.

User superTV247 wrote: ‘I physically convulsed at this. Singlehandedly the worst thing and simultaneously the most impressive thing I have ever seen on this show’.

Agreeing, LauraMargaret_X said: ‘Auzzy Blood probably the most disturbing thing I’ve seen! what makes someone think I’m going to try and shove a metal hook up my nose’.

Some people actually thought the audition shouldn’t ever have made it to TV. Tagging Ofcom, CarolWa36420825 raged: ‘AUZZY BLOOD on BGT was disgusting, not entertainment, pre watershed and a terrible example to children watching a supposed family show’.

Echoing her sentiments, Lynndynes posted: ‘That act was disgusting and should not have been put on TV at prime time when children will be watching’.

’I love a danger act but that went too far’, wrote RyanTheSoapking.

Auzzy Blood is no stranger to the screen. The seasoned performer has already competed in six different versions of Got Talent, including America’s Got Talent in 2022 and the Spanish edition in 2023.

The death-defying stuntman also boasts 129,000 Instagram followers, a platform where he somehow manages to bypass all social media regulations and restrictions to showcase his skills.

Britain’s Got Talent airs Saturdays on ITV1 and ITVX.
