Looking for the perfect setting for a wintery beach walk? The expert team at Parkdean Resorts has found this season’s warmest beach.
The team looked at average December temperatures at some of the UK’s top beaches to see which is likely to have the best weather this year.
Kynance Cove, a gorgeous bay on the Cornwall coast, took this year’s top spot with average December temperatures of 11.5 degrees.
A spokesperson said: “With its beautiful turquoise waters, fine white sand and incredible rock formations, Kynance Cove is a stunning spectacle and will certainly not disappoint – even in brisker weather.”
Kynance Cove is extremely busy in the summer so the winter could be the perfect time to visit without the crowds.
‘Samantha’ wrote on Tripadvisor: “Breathtaking views and we saw seals. Bit steep in places and the sea mist rolled in. Walks were plentiful. Simply stunning.”
‘Bongo’ said: “It is one of the most beautiful locations in Cornwall. The steep climb down is well worth it for the spectacular scenery and lovely beach.”
