IT’S EVERY child’s dream job – Aldi is offering 10 kids the chance to bag a job as an official toy tester this Christmas.
The supermarket giant is looking for children under 13 years of age to review the likes of games, science kits, cars and dolls, with each child being paid in a year’s worth of toys in return.
All the children will have to do is play with and review a range of different products from Aldi’s toy range.
To apply, Aldi – who has teamed up with Mumsnet to find their panel of toy experts – is asking each candidate to upload a 30-second video where they talk about and review their favourite toy.
Ideally, participants will be comfortable in front of the camera and be enthusiastic about the latest toy trends.
You’ll also need to fill in an application form with the deadline being December 23.
Applications will then be judged by Aldi’s toy team and the winning videos will be published on the Aldi website as well as Mumsnet, too.
“At Aldi we’re always looking for new ways to ensure our toys stay ahead of the game,” said Julie Ashfield, managing director of buying at Aldi UK.
“With over 349 toys available at our online Toy Shop it’s easy to imagine just how much testing goes on behind the scenes.
“This is a great opportunity for children to continue doing what they do best – playing with toys! We hope parents and children have fun with their applications and look forward to receiving the entries.”
To apply, fill in an application form and upload your video here.
