SHE plays Tiffany Butcher in EastEnders but Maisie Smith’s real life is a world away from Walford.
While Tiffany is friends with a drug-dealer and sports a puffer jacket mum Bianca Jackson would be proud of, Maisie, 17, is leading a much more glamorous life if her Instagram posts are anything to go by.
Maisie – who joined the soap as a child before returning in January last year – loves going out with friends.
While she isn’t old enough to drink, Maisie still enjoys glamming up, and for a festival, sported a bright pink wig, rainbow headband and shimmering make up.
In another picture, she posed for a sultry snap in front of some large lit up letters, and captioned it: “Call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me.”
Maisie already takes her health and fitness seriously too, and regularly posts snaps from the gym.
In one, she can be seen doing a lunge while holding weights and resting her foot on the weight stand for an extra challenge.
She captioned it: “Tryna get me that summer bod #gymshark @leoparrycoach.”
Maisie is certainly well on her way, showing off her flat stomach and toned legs in a pink two piece set in her bedroom.
But she couldn’t help joking about the room on show through the mirror, writing alongside it: “Mums room is an absolute tip.”
Maisie’s posts are certainly ones her fans like to see, as she now has over 200,000 followers on Instagram.
Her life now is a world away from when she first joined EastEnders in 2008 as a little girl.
After leaving with her on-screen family in 2014, she returned last year.
However she has opened up in the past about being a child star, telling The Stage Magazine: “Sudden fame can be tricky when you are just out having fun and people keep wanting to take your photo, but the EastEnders people are very supportive and have said that we can politely say no in situations where we feel uncomfortable.
“I am very glad that my break came with EastEnders, as they are like a family who look after you.
“Working on the show has given me the chance to learn so much from the actors, especially those who are in my TV family.”
