Nicole Kidman has revealed that there while there are many compliments she is all too happy to hear, there is one she cannot stand.
The 57-year-old told Time Magazine this week that she’s not a fan of being called a ‘superwoman’.
‘People go, “You’re a superwoman,” I hate it’ the Australian actress told the publication.
Superwoman is a compliment often given to women who managed to balance both career and family.
Nicole recently revealed that she was left frightened when she found herself unable to breastfeed after giving birth.
The Australian movie star and her country singer husband Keith Urban share two daughters – Sunday Rose, 16, whom Nicole carried herself, and Faith Margaret, 14, who was born via surrogacy.

She and her first husband Tom Cruise are also the adoptive parents of two grown children called Bella, 32, and Connor, 30.
Now, she has bared her soul about the shock medical development she found herself experiencing after she welcomed Sunday into the world.
When she discovered she could not breastfeed, she ‘was so terrified, asking, What just happened? Where’s my milk?’ she told Time magazine.
‘I remember standing naked in the shower, and my sister helped me. She was my source of strength. She’d had five children – she had the wisdom to pass on.’
Nicole appeared on the cover of the magazine, gazing with purpose off into the distance while being profiled as one of Time’s Women Of The Year.
She gave birth to Sunday Rose in Nashville in 2008, two years after she tied the knot with Keith following a year of dating.
The couple welcomed Faith Margaret via surrogacy at the end of 2010, publicly expressing their ‘incredible gratitude’ to their ‘gestational carrier.’
Sunday has decided to enter the modeling industry, making her runway debut last year at the Miu Miu show at Paris Fashion Week.

Nicole did not attend the catwalk show itself, but was seen posing lovingly with her daughter during the brand’s afterparty that evening.
After Sunday walked for Miu Miu, she was roundly roasted online for her severe expression and ‘stomping’ gait, and for being a ‘nepo baby.’
Shortly after the show, a source exclusively informed DailyMail.com that Nicole was upset by the criticism leveled at her daughter online.
‘Nicole was the same age as Sunday when she landed her first acting role and she was told back then to try something else,’ the insider pointed out.
‘Nicole faced “no’s” without having famous parents to shoe her in the door so she understands the criticism but it also upsets her because she is reminded of the hell she went through when she got her start,’ the source continued.
‘Ultimately, Nicole and Keith are so proud of her and they are letting her forge her own path. Her advice to her daughter was the same advice she gives herself – do not read social media. She will support her in whatever path she chooses.’
Over the years there has been a persistent hum of unconfirmed speculation alleging a possible distance in Nicole’s relationship with Bella and Connor.

The conjecture is centered on the fact that Connor and Bella have supposedly remained Scientologists like their father, while Nicole has not.
In 2019, when Connor married his girlfriend Silvia, who was reportedly dubbed the ‘Scientology Princess’ because of her high position in the religion’s Italian arm, there was a rumor Nicole was not invited.
Bella meanwhile is currently married to a man named Max Parker and the couple live a life out of the public eye in London.
Nicole’s new interview comes after she and Keith became the latest stars to fall victim to LA’s alarming wave of celebrity home burglaries.
The power couple, who purchased their Beverly Hills mansion in 2008 for $4.7 million, were not home when the break-in occurred over the weekend, according to TMZ.
Legal sources report that an intruder smashed a window to gain entry, but was ultimately scared off by one of Kidman and Urban’s employees.
It remains unclear if anything was stolen, as the couple will need to assess their home upon returning, per the outlet.
So far, no arrests have been made, though authorities have launched an official investigation.

The Oscar-winning actress and country music superstar, both 57, own the five-bedroom, 3,977-square-foot estate, which sits on a 1.4-acre lot in the prestigious Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood.
This latest burglary comes just weeks after Shang-Chi star Simu Liu‘s home was targeted during the holiday season, further underscoring the growing trend of high-profile break-ins in Los Angeles.
In 2024, a slew of other A-listers including Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson as well as Jessie J, Tyler Perry, Sophia Bush and Marlon Wayans had their Los Angeles homes broken into.
Meanwhile, Nicole and Keith have built an impressive international real estate portfolio since marrying in 2006.
Their first joint purchase came in 2007—a 36-acre estate in Franklin, Tennessee, for $2.45 million.
The following year, they upgraded to a $3.47 million mansion in Nashville’s exclusive Northumberland community.
Beyond Tennessee, the couple owns properties in Manhattan, Sydney, and New South Wales.
