21 Blue Bridesmaid Dresses Sabrina Carpenter Would Approve

Blue bridesmaid dresses are having a moment this year, and we might owe it to the Grammy’s. In case you missed it; Sabrina Carpenter – who has favoured the colour throughout her Short n’ Sweet Tour so far – wore a baby blue feather-trimmed silk gown on the 67th award’s red carpet, while her chart sister Chappell Roan wore a denim-hued corset number inside.

Since then, according to Google Trends, searches for blue bridesmaid dresses have increased by 20%.

It’s not just the A-listers who are championing blue, either. SS25 at Marchesa featured four blue gowns, while a bright aqua took centre stage throughout Harbison’s collection. Chanel was all about pastels, including cornflower and sky blue, and Armani Privé took a liking to royal blue for a few runway looks.

I’m getting married in August and I’ve definitely been swayed. Not only does it tick the ‘something blue’ box (handy), but there’s also something inherently calming about the colour, which will be much appreciated in my ongoing bid to avoid stress.

Unlike other fan favourites for 2025 – read: black bridesmaid dresses, champagne bridesmaid dresses, and ever-popular sage green bridesmaid dresses – there’s tonnes of shade variety, too.

Looking at the best bridesmaid dresses online, places like ASOS, Pretty Lavish and Ghost have plenty, but if you’re wanting something super specific (like a slate, ice, or royal perhaps), bridal stores such as JJ’s House, Ever Pretty and Maids to Measure will surely have it.
