A woman who made no contact with anybody for several days was found half-eaten by her pet pugs after dying at home.
Relatives of Adriana Neagoe, 34, who went by the name Anda Sasha, grew concerned after no contact from her for five days.
Emergency services found her dead body that the pugs had been eating inside her apartment in Bucharest, Romania.
Anda’s body showed no sign of violence and her cause of death has not been confirmed.
A police investigation is ongoing.
Paying tribute, her sister Maria Alexandra said on Facebook: ‘Another angel has gone to heaven.
‘My beautiful sister Anda Sasha is no longer among us.’
People on social media offered their condolences to Anda’s family and expressed their shock.
Daniel said: ‘Condolences, I can’t believe it. I am so sorry.’
Roby added: ‘What is this life, today you are and tomorrow you are not. What a pity for her youth. May God rest her soul in peace.’
‘I don’t believe what just happened,’ said Alysa.
Mara commented: ‘I am devastated! May God protect her and give you the strength to overcome.
‘Please let me know if I can help with anything. Condolences.’
Elena wrote: ‘My deepest condolences to you! I am in shock! What happened to her?’
There were signs of cadaveric lividity, also known as livor mortis, due to the position she was found lying in.
This is a term used to describe the pooling of blood in the lowest parts of the body after death.
This causes a discolouration of the skin ranging from pink to dark purple.
Anda’s funeral took place today at a local chapel.
The two pet pugs have now been taken by workers from the local council and police who put a shelter order in place for them both.
