“The unique world of Peaky Blinders lends itself incredibly well to this style of gaming”
Endemol has partnered with Curve Digital and FuturLab to create the first video game based on the award-winning TV series, Peaky Blinders.
The game – which is expected to launch in 2020 on console and PC – will be a “narrative action game inspired by the critically acclaimed, epic gangster drama”. The press release says it will be “a highly innovative, story-driven design” enabling players to control “all of their favourite characters” from the Peaky Blinders universe, which will also feature locations from the series.
It’s unclear if show creator Steven Knight will be directly involved with the development of the game, but he said “Peaky Blinders […] will manifest in lots of different media in the coming years” and confirmed he was “really excited by all of these developments”.

Curve Digital’s parent company, Catalis, recently acquired Runner Duck for an unspecified sum. The acquisition of the award-winning Brighton-based studio sees it join Curve Digital, Testronic and Kuju as part of Catalis’ “ambitious acquisitions strategy” that “restate[s] its pledge to become one of the UK’s most significant gaming companies”.
