A GROUP of passengers have been shamed online after they were spotted airing their wet swimsuits on the headrest during a flight.
The unusual act was captured by another traveller, who decided to share the photograph online.
The picture was posted to the Instagram account Passenger Shaming, which often reveals the very worst of travellers.
They appeared to be flying at night, with lights lowered for sleeping passengers.
It was captioned: “PRO TRAVEL TIP: If you have a wet bathing suit, or three — AIRPLANE HEADREST DRYER.”
The picture has had more than 3,000 likes, but social media users were conflicted about whether it was acceptable behaviour.
One Instagram user remarked: “What kind of monster would do this?”
Another wrote: “I never ever want to meet the person these clothes belong to.”
Others thought it wasn’t that bad as the row didn’t have any passengers in it.
They said: “It’s a pretty empty flight. Looks like no one sitting in the row being used for laundry.”
Some were also more positive: “Better than a dirty diaper.”
The Passenger Shaming Instagram account has previously revealed other horrors of in flight travellers.
Picking their toenails and leaving dirty nappies are some of the worst sights to ever be seen on a plane.
A woman went viral after filming a fellow passenger putting her bare toes on her armrest during the flight, resulting in more than 16 million views.
